Healing Hands — thanks to you!

Fifty-five successful surgeries were carried out at Kothara Leprosy Mission Hospital in India recently, Hospital Superintendent Dr Asha Massey, reported.

These patients (pictured above) were treated for leprosy in the local government system but diagnosed too late to avoid leprosy impairment. Fortunately, when they were referred to The Leprosy Mission Hospital in Kothara, it was NOT too late to receive life-changing reconstructive surgery. Praise God!

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD” —Jeremiah 30:17

Each patient has been able to undergo their surgery at no cost to them — thanks to the generosity of people like you. What a blessing!

But the road for these patients doesn’t end here, they will need physiotherapy and self-care training so they can regain as much use of their hands and feet as possible.

Thanks to your support they will be able to receive all the care they need for their full recovery. Thank you.

What joy you bring to these patients when they can once again be able to do simple everyday tasks for themselves — like holding a spoon, a pen, tools, or even just a hairbrush. When they can cook, clean, look after their families and go back to work.

You make this possible, you are restoring their lives and giving them hope for a better future. Your prayers and financial support transform families and whole communities. Thank you!

Praise God for Dr Asha and her team at Kothara Hospital and for their marathon efforts to restore people affected by leprosy and disability. Pray for the patients as they continue their recovery. Thank you.
