“Thank you for coming along for the ride!”
The Leprosy Mission Trust India has launched an innovative new mobile therapy unit.
This initiative, led by Leprosy Mission Australia ambassadors, Joe and Maria Bast, was funded by a group of generous Leprosy Mission supporters in Australia.
It is estimated that over 800 people affected by leprosy and 2,000 people with disabilities will benefit from this Mobile Clinic.
Joe and Maria continue to give thanks to God, and want to personally thank you for your continued prayers and financial support:
Dear Friends and Family,
We’d both like to thank you for your overwhelming financial support, prayers and encouragement during our fundraising for the Mobile Clinic, helping people affected by leprosy.
Your combined effort made it possible to buy the vehicle and fit it out to serve and treat the patients early, to avoid deformities.
These patients, in remote areas have no way to get to a hospital.
Community stigma and lack of resources or knowledge means they often do not get the help they need.
Thank you for your faithfulness and ongoing support, you are our strength and by God’s grace and through you all, this amazing project is now reality.
Praise God who works in wondrous ways and let us continue to serve him.
We pray that the leprosy patients be included in society with dignity and acceptance.
Thank you for all you have done.
Please keep us in your prayers so we can continue His work.
With Love
Joe and Maria Bast
Give thanks to God that He has, and is, able to accomplish immeasurably more than we could even dream, hope or imagine! Pray we all may be continually inspired to maintain the momentum in defeating leprosy and transforming lives together, in Jesus name. Amen.
